I agree with Trev. The photo above speaks volumes. It's an okay boozer, the beers good.

Loud pub - in terms of shouting customers and 'background' music - so not a place for a quiet night out! One end of the pub is a bar around which most people, presumably regulars, stand. The other end is dominated by a large snooker table. But the friendly service couldn't be faulted; neither could the pint of Ruddles, which was the only draft ale on.

Amongst the trendy loud music bars up and down the High Street The Foresters manages to retain a semblance of a traditional pub. Not bad beer and prices that are reasonable. It is not the biggest of pubs so can get a little cramped at busy times but worth a look in if you are in town. Not the biggest real ale range but normally a couple on the pumps and quite well kept.

Year and half since my last comment - but i'm now a irregular visitor to this smashing ale house. Dave and Anne have really turned this place round and its now a very popular pub. The menu is good old fashioned pub basics and the food is excellent.
Real ale regular Ruddles is well kept and there is usally a guest ale on as well.

Well worth a visit!

Another successfull Christmas and New Year. There is always something special for each customer, regular or new. A way to go to be beaten by anyone in Andover
