A nice pub with a good atmosphere and some interesting photos and stuff on the walls. Not the best pub in town, especially now the Scarlets have moved from Stradey Park, but far, far, far from being amongst the worst!

We met up here before the game to soak up the atmosphere, had a good sing,a,long battle against the locals (we won) The ground is literally "just around the corner" and the pubs just down the road from the thomas arms hotel and the stradey park hotel, but the craic is MUCH better. Una (l,lady) and Steve (l,lord) are really nice people and made us feel really welcome, good source of local info such as best curryhouse, kebab, chinese taxis etc. Highly reccomended! 11 stars outta 10. We,ll be back

My favouite kinda pub, great atmosphere, great beer, (guinness is awsome) bangingly good jukebox and just around the corner from the rugby. I have visited "the cat" many times and even as an away fan have always had a great reception from the locals.AND THE LANDLADYS IRISH !!! cant fault it.

I have been a regular at THE CAT as it is fondly known by its locals for many years, and if your looking for a good night out it is well worth a visit. So if you are in the area call in have a drink, have a chat, but most of all have a great time.

Formerly called the West End Inn and taken over by a woman from (you guessed it) Kilkenny in Ireland who spends a lot of time mixing with her customers on the right side of the bar.
The "Cat" is a very friendly outgoing pub that caters for all agegroups. It has a pool table, big screen Tv and has regular live groups. The Irish groups are particularly very popular. The bar provides your normal ales including Guiness, Carling, Stella and Worthington.
