I thought that the landlady in here was nice enough and the mix of plasma screen, TV and projector make it ideal for watching the football. There is a pool table at the rear of the pub and I had no problems with any of the other customers. There are four hand pumps, but two of these were off and the other two were dispensing Courage Best. There is only a standard draught menu available alongside the ale, but I had a decent Guinness. As I mentioned before, this place is good if some sport is on, but I wouldn’t bother if there was not. Strongers - 14 Nov 2009 10:37
what a improvement the new manager Tina has made to this pub. It has a more friendlier and inviting atmosphere and I have now become 100% regular. the1dd - 30 Oct 2009 15:01
Incredibly cheap and always busy, be careful once your in though, not particularly safe. reverendlionelblair - 27 Jul 2008 09:27
This place has gone down hill. Went in and the pool table had been taken away with the customers. birdnhandroger - 2 Apr 2007 12:10
This pub is an absolute dive and although under new management is still the same old pikey infested scumhole it has always been. anonymous - 9 Dec 2006 17:06
