| Possibly the last (and best) remaining traditional down-to-earth real ale boozer in Blackpool. Sited opposite Blackpool North BR station this pub serves the entire Theakston's range on handpump plus at least one changing guest beer. The ale was on top form when I last visited (27/04/2001) and at lunchtime the most exquisite curry was enjoyed. The pub has been threatened with closure since, and I am hoping that someone local visits to see that the pub is still running along the same lines.
