| More a pub/restaurant/hotel than a nice simple pub. Would have rated it as rather dull without any major failings, but barmaid's response when I complained about the quiz machine swallowing my money was the worst single example of customer service I've ever encountered (and I've lived in Britain my entire life). Generally attracts the office crowd having a drink at lunchtime or early evening - not the sort of place you'd expect to have a riotously good time. jonesey - 18 Dec 2007 14:09 |

| It's a fairly pleasant hotel bar really. Usual range of beers, reasonably quiet and very clean. Taken many a young lady here in my time, you can actually hear each other speak, and you don't have to take a tazer gun to persuade hordes of drooling chavs to bugger off as you work your charms. ye73812 - 18 Oct 2006 22:19 |
