| Strange pub this, the decor makes it seems more like a private members club that your usual pub. Not much atmosphere, although surprisingly busy on a wet and windy Tuesday night. There's a large bar at the back with a couple of pool tables, and it looks as though they do a basic food offering, although probably only on a lunch time. The only thing close to a real ale was Courage Best, but this was through a lager style font rather than a proper hand pump. Also Thatcher's Gold and Blackthorn ciders.
