Odd pub , empty on bank holiday weekday afternoons. Packed out on weekends. More of a food pub ,than a drinkers one.

Oh dear. Don’t come to this pub when it’s busy. Bar too rammed to get a seat, yet half of the building was empty because it’s set aside for diners only. You wouldn’t want to eat here anyway, because it’s restaurant prices (to eat in a pub? Yeah, right!). A few interesting local beers, but you have to go outside in the cold if you want to sit down to drink them.

The clientele are awful, seemingly consisting of those elements of the braying masses so overcome with their own sense of entitlement that they will use every muscle and reflex in their body to try to edge in front of you at the bar and jump the queue. If anybody is even serving, that is; service seems somewhat difficult to come by.

To quote the reviewer below, it’s just some poncey restaurant with a small bar attached. Avoid this place. Really.

Rating now increased by several points as the beer selection has been in a different league recently.

There's still sometimes no one behind the bar though, and the Dulwich parents I suspect will never go away.

The interior is quite nice now, but apart from that this is a terrible pub. The range of beers is woeful and service can only be described as negligent - they have no interest in serving you.

Icing on the cake is the usual Dulwich chinless wonders who think a pub is a middle class nursery, so bring carloads of screaming little sh*ts who are left to race around the place unsupervised because, you know, little Freddy and Flossie are so creative and the important thing with such talented children is not to stifle their, you know, creative nature.

In short, not really a pub for decent human beings.
