*****2010 Review*****.

Well, there has been a new management team in place here for a few years now apparently.

First to note is that THIS PUB NO LONGER SERVES MEALS.

The staff greeted us with blank expressions, served us and then vanished. There is no atmosphere at all in this pub and that probably explains why it was so empty, even with a major football match on.

There is a large free car park next to the pub.
The chairs look like they came from the local tip, all dirty and stained. The carpet is held down with gaffa tape.

The sound for the TV was so low we couldn't hear the match commentary. About 10 minutes before the end of the game someone put the jukebox on and that ended all sound from the game. Only then did they turn up the volume, we left at that point as they obviously don't want people who want to watch the football. The TV is old and blurry so I won't miss not going back again.

Stella was 3.25 a pint, but buying two identical rounds of drinks we were charged two different prices!

5 Years ago this was not a bad pub, but now I would avoid it if I were you.

Without exception the worst pub I have ever had the misfortune to enter.
No atmosphere, completely plastic pub - The Bar 'Food' terrible, the inside of the pub filthy especially where I ate in the 'Conservatory' - although the families of woodlice - literally hundreds of them crawling around made for 'entertainment' whilst I managed to keep the microwaved 'food' down.
Had severe stomach ache the next day - not sure if related to the muck I had to endure in their. Complained at the time to the bar staff who was going to get someone to deal with it so I just leaft as fed up of waiting...

Surburban pubs are always rubbish and this place makes no attempt to differentiate itself. But not bad for what it is.
