| A great pub with consitently good beer and friendly locals. A pleasant surprise to find it open all day but thankful it was. Well worth the walk up from the station and a very enjoable couple opf pints between trains (try the Oxfordshire Day Ranger ticket which gives open access between Reading; Moreton-in-Marsh;Banbury ; Oxford and Bicester. | Just like pubs used to be ! Manages to be a locals pub, and very friendly to visitor as well as a magnet for real-ale drinkers with six changing beers available. GBG regular.
