i love this place the food is gorgeous and cheap the bar staff are friendly its a relaxed and fun atmosphere the only thing i can say being negative is the lack of entertainment if they played music it would be fab but other than that its a firm favourite of me my friends and family and we keep coming back. it looks posh but is cheap love it ,it gets the thumbs up from me

I agree with Wazza407's review, although i don't personally miss the live entertainment too much, especially the one's who performed on Friday!

Whilst it's the not the greatest pub in the world, it's perfect if you just want a couple of quiet pints.

This pub has recently stopped the live entertainment which is a real shame as was a highlight especially the accoustic stuff on a Tuesday night. However it appears that they were not getting enough people in.

Although my nearest pub, it has now become very quiet most nights. Still shows the football and is good for a seat.

Three regular ales normally accompanied by a guest are "usually" of quite a high standard. Staff are friendly and no one stares at you for being a student.
