They've definitely smartened it a bit since its Mr Q days, but it's still a very average place. Interesting layout in a triangle between two streets: smaller front bar and a long passageway through into a more roomy back bar with pool tables etc., plus a beer garden. I didn't notice any real ale. Didn't have food; it smelt very nice though.

Hey, where'd my review go?

Was in here last Sunday to watch the rugby - the place has had a lick of paint and looks semi-respectable, service was fine (friendly even) and the menu wasn't bad at all.

Not a bad pub at all - food is great - beers reasonable and good garden bar!

4 pool tables and plenty room - could speed up bar service mind you

Don't even think of getting served here unless you've been a regular for years - the staff simply ignore you. Horrible, horrible, horrible pub.
