Very Friendly and welcoming Pub,just 200 yards up from Acton town tube Station,

I was made to feel wery welcome by two friendly Barmaids who were also very attentive.

This pub has a lot of facilities inside it but looks very deceptive from the street,it is shaped like a triangle, and the front bar,you enter in first is the smallest, this has a central bar and several plasma/LCD TVs showing the football etc,

Moving down the central corridor,Which houses the Pub's toilets and private areas, such as the Offices, there is a huge back Bar,complete with upstairs Mezzeniene area containing 3 Pool Tables and 3 Dartboards,on the ground floor these is an extensive Dining Area and a large Bar -which I was informed is never used as the Mill Hill does'nt seem to get busy enough to justify opening the Back Bar-All drinks and food have to be bought/ordered from the front Central bar !.

Also in the Back Bar there are more Plasma/LCD TVs showing the football etc,and there is also a Latest Touchscreen Digital Jukebox where you can play any top 40 hit going right back as far as 1952(2 Consoles, one in each Bar).

In the very back there is also an attractive Beer garden complete with outdoor TV.

This was my first visit to the Mill Hill, and for a such a nice friendly pub with so much going for it ,I have felt it was under patronised,Let's try and bring peope back to the Mill Hill-(Turn right out of Acton Town tube station, the Mill Hill is 200 yards up on ste same side of the road-Also the E3 Bus route passes the Door !).

That said maybe more people Will now frequent the Mill Hill,I'll certainly be Back.

Have not been in for 4 years but went in on my last visit to Acton. Long gone are the days where all my Australian friends would celebrate the end of the week with beer and pool on a Friday.

Was very quiet, a few guys watching football and that was about it. Beer is still the same, food was nice it just seemed strange to see it so quiet!

This is our local pub and we love it. It's fun to watch the crazy Greek(?) chef serving up good food and if you want to engage in banter about the abundant sport on the TVs, there's every opportunity to do that. The manager is on the ball and the place is generally good no matter what mood you're in. In this strangely shaped pub there's a beer garden, pool tables, darts, music, sport and good clientele. On the downside there are no cask ales here and the service could be slightly better when certain Eastern European women are behind the bar. But apart from that, it's mostly good!

The barmaid was friendly enough when she finally made an appearance and I could get used to paying £2.80 for a pint of Guinness. There are a couple of plasma screens and the pub has Sky Sports.

I have to agree that there are better pubs in the area.

It used to be my favorite pub, the stuff used to be friendly, the manager was great!
now... i can't believe what happened to this place... it used to be absolutely packed in the evenings even during the week... now it's just empty and boring...
