Re-opened under new management, but much the same as before. Went in early evening, when it was very quiet, and several beers were off, but the service was friendly and efficient, and the music is now a little lower.

This is now a gay pub following its takeover by Fuel (club on Eyre Street). Nothing much has changed except that the old-man pictures have vanished and it is now far busier and so getting a seat (which was one of its bonuses) is impossible at the weekend. Apparently they are planning to keep the decent food, but there is no sign of it yet.

Food was nice. Not the biggest portions I've ever had but good nonetheless. Was full of arrogant businessmen which didn't create the best atmosphere!

Fantastic! Excellent food, excellent cocktails & the best staff I've had the pleasure of meeting for a long time.
I'd recommend this place to everyone. The food is wonderful and not too expensive. The cocktails are amongst the best I've tasted - I recommend the Kentucky Beer - exquisite!
