Three real ales (Landlord, Cumberland, Boddies). Bit expensive but OK.

I've not been in recently but have to say that the staff have always been pleasant and quick in my opinion. The atmosphere has always been brill. The beer garden/smoking area has been well thought out and even I, as an ex smoker think its an attractive addition. I'm sure Iain and Gareth are doing a great job and look forward to dropping by soon to check it out myself. I think this pub is a little gem, keep up the good work x

I used to go in here regularly. Popped back in the other week on a "crawl" and we had a good visit. At least 2 reasonable draught beers on, the food menu looked appealing and despite the inclement weather, there were plenty of people enjoying a night out (swimming in the beer garden).

I'd certainly go in again, although I'm not sure it would be somewhere I'd spend a whole evening

i totally agree with iain, this is a great pub and also the first pub I ever visited some thirty odd years ago, before going to stamford hall ,the stalybridge celtic stretford branch give it a thumbs up ,we have always had good service ,good beer (perhaps another guest please ! ) and the surroundings /decor are probably the best in Alty ,more support please ,look at the fifty odd pubs closing each week and support this one !
