This bar has completely changed. It's been bought by a new company & in January, 2012, it became under new management, a lovely aussie/london couple. No more 2 am license & best of all no more DJ. Still open 'till late on the weekends, with candles, friendly staff, decent music & decent people. Great place for a night out with friends or just you & your partner.Don't worry, pizzas are still just as good as ever.

This pub is ok at best. The pizzas are really good & the look of the place is spacious and clean. Got a nice area in the front i & it is great if you can get one of the tables in summer time. Beers ok standard fare. Agree with previous posters on the weekend crowds and the lack of a pub feel. Service was good though

No real ale on pump at all, just ultra-chilled lager and similar. A pint of some fizzy nonsense was ordered and the tap began spitting and frothing. The barman said he would change it, but we didn't really fancy having either the first pint of a new barrel or the dregs from the old one. The bar manager started to argue that there was plenty more 'in the pipes' but, to her credit, reacted to the unimpressive look on our faces by pouring something else. They had a two for one pizza offer. They were excellent and very good value. Two pool tables, much in demand.

An odd amount of positive comments below, but its average betrays the fact that the Village is a resoundingly mediocre bar which does not do anything to improve N10's weakness on the drinking front. I thought the service was poor (barmaid was studiously ignoring me despite my being the only person at the bar: I had to look directly at her to get her to acknowledge me), and the whole place looks like a nightclub in daytime: i.e. sticky floors, too dark etc. - I think some refurbishment would probably be worthwhile.

Love this bar, i'm a local and this place always has something going on. Tuesdays they do 2 4 1 pizzas all day. Thursdays 2 4 1 cocktails 'till midnight. Fridays and saturdays they're open till 2am with a DJ, no fee at the door and trainers allowed.
They do happy hour everyday 5-7 as well as a lunchtime deal. Best things about this place, the stonebaked pizzas, pool tables, the large garden and friendly bar staff.
