Love this bar, i'm a local and this place always has something going on. Tuesdays they do 2 4 1 pizzas all day. Thursdays 2 4 1 cocktails 'till midnight. Fridays and saturdays they're open till 2am with a DJ, no fee at the door and trainers allowed.
They do happy hour everyday 5-7 as well as a lunchtime deal. Best things about this place, the stonebaked pizzas, pool tables, the large garden and friendly bar staff.

I dunno how I ended up in this place but it was like some kind of nightmare. I wouldn't call it a pub, more like a bathroom showroom with drinks. I ordered a round of beers and when it came to paying I asked how much I thought she was telling me the time using the 24hour clock. More like a dentists that a pub. About as traditional as flat pack furniutre.

Decent enough place. It's a bit like drinking in an aircraft hanger, but the pizzas are pretty good and it's a nice enough place during the day/just after work.

But be warned - on Friday and Saturday nights its like the last days of Sodom and Gomorrah in there.

I managed to find myself in here for happy hour(s) yesterday (17:00-19:00) and 2 pints of Fosters and a Strongbow came to £6.90.

I had to wait 10 minutes for my drinks as the barman was making cocktails and the barmaid had absolutely no awareness of who had been at the bar longest. It only takes a glance; maybe she just couldn’t give a toss.

It was pretty busy for a place on a Tuesday night with people playing pool on both of the tables and others eating pizza, which looked very good.

I think they have some sort of problem with a leaking roof as there were ice buckets everywhere catching water from the ceiling.

I’m not really into places that are full of high maintenance girls and blokes with man bags, but it is handy to know about the happy hour(s) and the half price cocktails on a Thursday.
