It was on my pub crawl list so yes I did go in......a quick bottle of beer and out like a flash, can someone please tell me why this pub is still open?

Well i went there once and got a fractured jaw and cheekbone thanks to an asshole doorman... cunt! pardon my french I had a case to use them BUT was threated not too. the reason i got badly beaten up is a 14year old was high on drugs and was getting pushed into a room by the doormen who gave the underage drugs. one of the barmen was sited as a rapeist and was quitly removed from duties... all in a nights work i guess.

bad beer, bad cheep decore, shit music way to loud and repetative, boring, chavy, great if your drunk and dont care. I'd avoid it .

The interior of this place is a bit gaudy with fake chandliers and flowery wallpaper. This was my second visit here after first visiting on a Saturday night in the 1990s. It was much quieter last night. So why have a bouncer on the door on a Monday night, when there's clearly hundreds more people here at weekends? During the week, there's obviously less posers. However despite the lack of customers, I had to concur with the lack of cleanliness of the toilets. No cask ales. Cash only at the bar. I'll give it 3/10 to boost its score a little. But I'd only come back if somebody else was asking to meet here. Instead, you could always try the Grapevine Bar at Questors Theatre on a parallel street (exit, turn right, cross the Broadway, head down the alleyway and turn right again onto Mattock St). It's not listed on here (I could add it, but by the time it's added I'll have forgotten all about it!), but despite being a members' club, should allow you in. Whilst much quieter on non-theatre nights, it stocks 3 real ales (Pride, Twickenham Original and Marlow Rebellion IPA last night) in a modern, comfortable environment. It's a far cry from the fake atmosphere of Edwards.

What can be said about this Edwards the only words that come to mind are complete and utter dump. It starts with over zealous door staff they seem to think this pub has standards but when you get in this clearly is not the case. If you want to spend the night with the waifs and strays of Ealing this is the pub for you. In conclusion avoid like the plague.
