| Went here on the offchance yesterday as they had a large sign advertising a childrens play paddock. Equipment was old, dirty and broken. The lager I had tasted vaguely of line cleaner and my partners draught white wine was truly awful. From memory this used to be a good welcoming pub and eatery. Not any more.............. leicesterdrinker - 26 Jul 2010 11:59 |

| My partner and i have visited this pub for a meal on two occasions in the last few months. Once in the week and once for sunday lunch. I can honestly say that this is some of the best food i've ever tasted. The sunday carvery proved excellent value for money, where as the starter we had during the evening meal proved to be a meal in itself. I can recommend the farmhouse sausage and mash or the pate as an excellent choice for starters, just make sure you've got a healthy appetite!! Richard Late - 18 Feb 2004 13:03 |
