Great pub with great real ales, the little tubby manager and his identical twin sister make the place complete. Never had a bad pint there yet, although the wait on the food sometimes stretches the British concept of lunch "hour." Good selection of beers, what more could a man want? harrythebastard - 6 May 2009 23:55
Last tuesday I had the best pub lunch of my life the, sausage were exellente whit cream fuffy mash(mash melts in your mouth) and well flauvoured gravy. Food is uncommonly good here, other spirit group houses nearby run the same menu but they do even come close . no idea about the booze as I dont drink during the day but if they take this much care over their food , I`d be astonished if it is any less than exeptional. This may sound gushing but it is very good,,,thanks and congratulations to the chefs and kitchen team. ( recommend) bety - 25 Apr 2009 17:55
After spending 3 Monday nights in here I must say.. I really, really like the function room! It's totally private, no strangers walking around (so you can just leave your stuff in a corner and not worry about it).. Food & drinks are definitely reasonable in price and quality and the Monday staff is very nice :) Thanks guys, see ya soon! ohsusyq - 26 Mar 2009 03:23
Bar in the middle with the drinking area in a horseshoe around it. Part of the seating area is divided by screens. Beer on Thursday night was Springhead Polar Beer, GK IPA and Isle of Purbeck Thermal Cheer. Pride was off. Thermal Cheer was a good enough pint. OK pub. GuideDogSaint - 24 Jan 2009 12:36
