Visited in March and it is a bit of a walk out of Dewsbury. Nice setting at the Marina, and interesting loft bar. Had a Leeds Best, but it was not in good condition at all. As we had taken the beer downstairs to drink we did not climb back up to change it. Maybe we should of to give the pub a fairer review, but not the easiest bar to get to. gillhalfpint - 10 Jul 2009 12:17
Excellent boozer with well kept ales. Plenty of comfy chairs to relax in and an open fire to keep out the chill of winter. Everards Tiger has always been on each time I have frequented and is a nice pint. A bit of a walk out of the centre of Dewsbury but sure worth the walk and a boozer you can stay in for a fair few hours.. They have/had old viz annuals as well which is a bonus !!! aleterrier - 21 Feb 2009 05:31

Good quality beers at the dewsbury marina. Always a good pale ale from Roosters. Nice old building, upstairs loft bar. Lost some character recently, the eclectic furniture and cushions have been replaced with formulaic ikea style dining chairs. The original cobbles outside have been covered with decking. brisk - 8 May 2008 15:21
