Fast becoming a great place to visit. Good range of beers and a good atmosphere. Food reasonably priced & big portions. Well worth trying. foamy - 30 Dec 2011 18:15

Since Dave and Jo took over the freehold of this village pub it has gone from strength to strength. The food as well as the real ales are served in superb condition and at a reasonable cost. They also have a selection of guest ales as well as a selection of food specials which are changed frequently to appease even the most ardent villagers. The pub has reestablished its self as one of the main village venues with numerous functions and fundraisers being held at the pub through out the year. They have also started there own beer festival weekend with a selection of at least 20 Real Ales from across the country ( see there web page for details). The pub is split into 3 areas, public bar, lounge bar (both with real fireplaces) and a separate restaurant / function area. This pub is a family friendly establishment with a small garden area as well as a large outside patio area, (dogs are also welcome) as well as groups. The Cock Inn can also cater for outside functions. Call for info. Iain360 - 17 Nov 2010 12:23
Unlike the previous reviewer we both survived and enjoyed our lunch, as well as the very friendly atmosphere last week. Food had a home-cooked taste to it, very nice. Wine not too great, but everything else fine. retirementfun09 - 29 Aug 2010 21:47
