| My first visit to this pub and will not be my last. It's been beautifully restored retaining much of the original features and therefore its character with three distinctly separate areas. There is a good choice of real ales and bottled beers, there are newspapers and board games, the staff are knowlegeable and chatty, the clientelle are friendly and civilized.
