| This is a micropub so by definition it is very small and the beers served are all direct from the cask. Fortunately they are kept in a chilled area so temperature is not a problem. Although it also serves wine, ciders and soft drinks clearly most punters go here for the beer and very good it is too. There is no hot food, no piped music, no jukebox, no large screen TV, no flashing fruit machine and no lager; if you want these facilities there are plenty of local pubs that offer them however, if you fancy quality beers from small breweries, (often from North Riding or Ashover), and conversation maybe you should give it a try! doctorpint - 23 Jun 2019 16:27 |
