The County Arms has really bucked up its game in the past couple of years.
Out with the chavs and druggies and in with the cold lively beer! Huzzah!
The barstaff are all wonderful, very polite and great banter.
The food is also good, huge selection and big portions, with low prices and daily deals.
There are 2 snooker tables in an old church style hall on one side and a quiet dining area on the other.
There is always without fail a band on a friday night.
There are 4 TVs showing football, racing, rugby, tennis, cricket... pretty much any sport you might want to watch. You can just ask the barstaff to change the channel for you.
Theres also a top knotch duke box.
The regulars are all friendly, the sort of men that have been coming to the pub for years.

Overall a fantastic pub.

There's something wonderfully reassuring about this grotty, slightly smelly local mixer. The deeply disturbing sight of the regal (its anything but) snooker hall opposite and the wide selection of chavs knocking around outside means you can't wait to get through the door. Once inside, you're presented with pretty average service and below average beer. Having said that, the atmosphere is very pleasant, there's plenty of audio visual entertainment (the jukebox is top notch) and the wide selection of Highams Park legends that frequent the place mean you'll definately leave with a smile on your face. I really can't think of a better boozer to enjoy 5 pints of flat, warm Kronenbourg.
