| There's something wonderfully reassuring about this grotty, slightly smelly local mixer. The deeply disturbing sight of the regal (its anything but) snooker hall opposite and the wide selection of chavs knocking around outside means you can't wait to get through the door. Once inside, you're presented with pretty average service and below average beer. Having said that, the atmosphere is very pleasant, there's plenty of audio visual entertainment (the jukebox is top notch) and the wide selection of Highams Park legends that frequent the place mean you'll definately leave with a smile on your face. | I like this pub - the staff are friendly, it's great for the football and the drinks are reasonably priced. The quiz on a Sunday is always good for a laugh too! I choose this pub anyday over the other locals in the vicinity. Kristy - 27 Jun 2005 18:04 |
