| A pub specialising in food or beer, and the Bhurtie is great for both. Food is home-made and reasonably priced. Eleven real ales available. | Popped in on a Friday afternoon recently, good range of ales in great condition available as usual. Beer festival 1st week in July, more than likely to be the last one here, so well worth making the effort to attend if possible. PoorBeerHater - 8 May 2013 13:17 |
| Visited again last Friday. A good selection of well kept ales was available. Curry selection was not as good as normal, nothing "spicy" was available, I assume that this was a hangover from Christmas and the time was not available to make the curries. PoorBeerHater - 7 Jan 2013 09:30 |
