please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Perhaps a sign that the whole craft beer thing is going mainstream. A good choice of beers for sure including some from the reliable Thornbrdge but the interior is a bit like an airport bar and a pizza while gleefully gulped was so-so in truth.

Enormous range of bottled and keg beers - though at a very high price. They did have a good number of real ales on and the ones I tried (from Marble Brewery and Oakham) were in very good condition. I also sampled a pizza which was very nice.

Third stop on our crawl of Leeds city centre pubs and bars was Tapped. This is a bar which brews its own beer and it has an impressive range of both cask ales and craft beers. The real ales on were Tapped Brew Co. Rodeo, Brew York Viking DNA, Maris The Otter, X-Panda & Big Eagle, Kirkstall Dissolution, Cromarty Whiteout, Bad Seed Aussie Pale, Exit 33 Hopnotised & Mad Skills & Oakham Citra. The real cider was Thistly Cross Strawberry Cider. Some of the keg options were almost £12 a pint. But then they were 10.5%! Seating is on benches, which is ok if you're in a group, but probably not so good if you're on your tod. A bit too pricey for my liking. But it has a decent central location.

Don't bother if you are a real Ale drinker. All fizzy pop. Not a decent English beer in site,

Brash and modern (but in a good way) ale and craft beer house - run by the same people that have brought us the Euston, York, Harrogate and Sheffield Taps - which has added another string to Leeds' wonderful range of city centre pubs. Definitely worth a look.
