| Great pub destroyed by new licences. Previously this had been a Thai restaurant and pub. Normally 2 casks on. Food highly rated I regularly eat there. Beer faultless but this was more of restaurant than a pub. New Licences said "we want to make it more of pub". Last time I was in there there were 2 beers on.......both pumps Bateman's XB?? "we" said the barman "haven't got the demand" for more than one beer? Closed during the day previously open 6 days a week day time and 7 days a week night time. Supposedly some of this was due to alterations to kitchen...why? His food is terrible. Been told he was closed Sunday dinner time 16 February. Most pubs busiest time. Closed all day Monday Tuesday open night only rest of the week but only till 10pm. "Hoping to open during the day sometime this year" Another pub being ruined by people who think they know how to run a pub when clearly they don't.
