Just thought I would add that this pub is still great... actually probably getting better! The garden has been revamped again in the Summer of 2018, now having a patio, lawn and covered area. Lights everywhere add to the evening ambience, creating a real oasis in the town.. On another note, the pub always seems to cater for coeliac's, often having a Gluten free beer on hand pump. My wife was diagnosed with this disease 2-3 years ago, and whilst she likes cider, she does miss Bitters and lagers.. The White Hart usually has Happy People IPA from the Smiley brewery in Little Eaton, Derbyshire, who seem to have a few gluten free alternatives.. The staff are also very knowledgeable..

Question; Is this the best pub in Loughborough? Answer; Quite possibly... Lively pub with nice décor and friendly staff that seems to appeal to all (there were couples of all ages, groups, and a few rugby songs flying around when I visited in Feb 2014...) 5 or 6 real ales including Belvoir Beers Strong ale, Shipstones Bitter, Bass, Black Sheep plus a few more (inc Fruli fruit beer). Some of the other town center pub's needed the wake-up call and The White Hart is onto a winner me'thinks...

Reopened in summer 2013., after a refurbishment which for a one roomed pub is not bad. Gaining in popularity. No hot food at present but I believe it is planned. Good selection of usually 6 Real Ales which usually includes several Belvoir Beers including Shipstones Bitter, which is very like the old Shippos.
Live music usually Friday evenings. Nice garden for when the weather is OK.
Well worth a visit.
