One of the better Wetherspoons; well located and well run.

Called after SNW - because he lived in Deal, as a lad.

went in last Monday, standard WSP

staff seem to know what they were doing , even though there were quite
a few customers eating and drinking , and the electrics on the pumps had blown out

if you are in Deal give it a bash

The translators at the EU Parliament rendered "l'industrie laitière était sauvée par la sagesse Normande" as "the dairy industry was saved by Norman wisdom", quite correctly.

They were puzzled by the laughter from the British MEPs, however.

Happy days.

This is easily the best spoons I have used nice open kitchen beer and food really good and have to say has a great atmosphere plus it doesn't smell of piss and denture cream which most of them have as you don't get your old soaks in there

Wetherspoons pub, with the usual pros and cons on such places, consistent cheap food, well priced beers with a good range, but a lack of atmosphere.

Whilst I normally enjoy a spoons for a quiet drink and some food, this place is a bit starnge.

At the front of the pub it feels fairly welcoming, but the larger part at the back has the feel of a childrens playcentre, with its garish decor. It does not feel right at all, very weird choice of decor.
