Went in here late last night as I had time to kill before my bus home.
Two scallies were smoking skunk in the doorway this should have warned me off the place!
Only around 20 customers but they were mostly loud kids.
All the usual fizzy drinks you would associate with a city centre chain pub were available but I was surprised to discover Cains Bitter, Yates Ale and Bombadier.
I had an ok pint of Bombardier for a very reasonable £1.85.
The building is a modern, large, souless barn with a high ceiling. Wood dominates all the surfaces.
Upstairs was closed apart from access to the only toilets.
It's a couple of years since I went was here and I don't anticipate a return any time soon.

Avoid this place like the plague !! We were in Liverpool for the Matthew Street festival and decided to go here for some lunch. There were 17 of us in total, including a baby, 2 young children and a pensioner. The doorman was extremely abusive to us in front of my children and used the most disgusting language. With people like him on the door it's no wonder there are fights in places like this. We will NOT be returning.

Went in here to escape a torrential downpour on my way to Lime Street station! Had a cheap pint of Strongbow. Upstairs was closed so the ground floor was quite busy. Tables hadn't been cleared - only appeared to be one person working there. No atmosphere, soulless, typical chain pub. I should have ran around the corner to Doctor Duncans to get out of the rain!
