A Greene King pub in lower case letters only thanks to a wonderous range of ales, focussing primarily on local brews – of the 10 handpumps available, only 3 were from the GK stable. Sandwiched between retail units on the thoroughfare through Farnham Common, it was busy with drinkers and a smattering of diners on a Friday night and although somewhat harassed, the two barmaids on shift made a fine job of sating both camps. Two XT beers on tap was also a welcome surprise. Komakino - 25 Apr 2015 19:48 |
Visited this pub on 22 July 2013. A fine selection of beers and reasonably priced. However, I found the food well over priced and not very good. £11 (YES - ELEVEN POUNDS) for haddock and chips served (for some reason) on a wooden platter. Not much of it and well over cooked. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. There are two other pubs near by and they cannot possibly be as RUBBISH as this one. hornet007 - 24 Jul 2013 22:10 |
