A very warm and welcoming Local pub based in the Heart of Crouch End. With comfy sofa's, soft lighting and attentive staff, we focus on striving to be a real locals pub where people are nice to each other.
Having SKY SPORTS, we show all the major sporting events and not just the football, if there is something you want to see, pop in and we'll try our best to put it on for you.
In the way of entertainment, we run Karaoke every other Saturday and live music once a month.
We have a small food offering of sandwiches made to order and some bar snacks - details to follow on menu.
This pub has gone through a major transition over the last fourteen months so pop in and say hi.

| Wow, what a transformation! I have been a local in this pub for a while now and can honestly say Jenny has turned it around in a way I never thought possible, the staff are warm and friendly, the entertainment is great (some great laughs at karoke). such a nice place to come for a warm and friendly night out, would recommend the Henry Reader above any other pub in crouch end. | The Henry Reader is now a must visit visit if you are in the Crouch End area. It has undergone an amazing change over the past year and is now a very clean, well managed pub run by people who care about the place and their customers. The staff are really attentive and friendly, and it's so nice to strike up a conversation with Jenny, the owner who is great fun. Good selection of beers, all well maintained. Miss it at your peril!
