| The Bank Bar is a particular favourite of mine. Centrally located in Dundee's Union Street, it is very near the railway station. "The Bank" is something of a real ale oasis in a city where real ale pubs are relatively few and far between. Several ales by local Tayside breweries are usually available along with the usual favourite lagers, bottled beers and spirits. Home cooked food is available throughout the day with many traditional favourites being available. Vegetarian options are always available. Weekends see live music in the evenings, where the focus is very much on local bands. The Bank, in my opinion, is always worth visiting.
