Hmm..some suspicious commenting activity on here. Anyway, far better place than its last incarnation. Very friendly staff, and food was very well priced for huge portions - of reasonable quality. Good choice on tap, and lots of stuff in the fridge too. Some teething troubles which they should sort out to not put off those who popped in on the off-chance, notably: aroma de urinal (except IN the toilets, where it was very bleachey), too dark and slightly under heated, sports on every TV (wheras the decor and gastro feel does not suggest a sports pub - who is the target audience?), no veggie options. I really would like this place to survive - so hopefully they will address these commments. I will always pop in for a pint whenever passing. Rayzer - 26 Feb 2012 20:07
Definitely agree with you kalla, it is a really cool venue now. So much nicer than when we called in at the beginning of the year. We had a lovely meal there recently and can't wait to go back to try something else on the menu. There were a great range of dishes to choose from and the bottle of wine we chose was a really reasonable accompaniment. janeyd - 22 Oct 2011 17:59

This place looks very cool since it's refurb, went in last night, greeted by 2 large carved pumpkins on the bar top advertising fancy dress party on Halloween. Drank 2 for 1 cocktails on happy hour excellent mojito(s) (5-8everyday) & ate a huge homemade burger! My mate's a beer fan, chuffed to find a new beer on tap stella artois black, a smooth mature lager, Very good. Other super thing going for this place is it's in a nice tucked away location on the other side of goldsmiths uni away from the noise of the highstreet drag. Hope it does well in it's new guise. kalla46 - 21 Oct 2011 15:50
