I don't usually put a review on this close to my previous one, but what a difference a day makes. Had good meals, good service and more excellent beers last night, so different from Friday night. Worthy of a higher mark this time.

Called in for the two for £10 meals last night and my steak was great, but the fish and chips did not have the tattar sauce and the chips were slightly undercooked. We ordered deserts and after 20 mins went to check about the delay, another 10 mins and they brought us deserts different to those ordered so time restrictions meant we had to have our money back. Maybe too busy for the amount of staff to cope. Good ales though.

Visited this pub yesterday, quite a few in but was served right away and the bar staff had a very friendly manner. The two different guest ales i tried were both bang on form, i didnt try the food so cant comment but many were eating and it looked fine. Overall a good pub, beers were in good condition, friendly staff, well worth a visit, very enjoyable.
