| The Sportsman Arms is a lovely old country pub - it's not a 'sports' bar. You are more likely to find people talking about what's going on in the village than the latest sports results. Great food, friendly locals and a huge play area at the front for kids make this a good family pub by day. Most Friday and Saturdays there is live music be this from a band (not rock) or a singer. | This really is everything a country pub should be- beautiful scenery, a warm welcome, and amazing beer. When we visited, there was a locally micro-brewed ale on; Nounsley Best.
