| Called in here on a recomendation from a friend. Very welcoming place. Looks newly done out, but in an old fashioned, basic style. Permanent beers were Yeaton Cask Ale, Thwaites Wainwright and Hawkshead Red. There were 4 (I think) guests on (some of the names elude me but they were all microbreweries, strangley from Lancashire!) Tried a Dark Mild from Bank Top Brewery in Bolton which was perfect. Will definately return as its only 15 minutes from home. Bonus! clodsthecat - 4 Jul 2011 16:24 |
