Holt's are usually known for their honest backstreet Manchester boozers. This soulless refurb of an old town pub is squarely aimed at the 'Cheshire Set'. More akin to having a pint in a trendy motorway service area cafe than a pub.

Visited last Friday.Well kept Holts mild and bitter.I didnot eat but meals looked good and staff helpful.Interesting tiling in the Gents.

Great pub and wonderful food. Bar staff are always very freindly. I suggest the House bitter Joey holts.

Had some great meals here, and the portions, WOW. Now its been done up, its like a wine bar type of thing. Lager is warm though.

totally changed now , all the chavs seem to have migrated elsewhere , have eaten 4 times here and the food is brilliant , no pool table any longer and lots of plasma screens around but they show just videos off the jukebox , should have the footie on sometimes , seems to be taking a lot of food custom off other pubs just a shame the beer is crap 10/10 for the food but maybe thats all its about now a lot of old locals seem to have gone elsewhere since the refurb
