| This was to be our second pub in Hertfordshire on Saturday lunchtime after the Blind Fiddler at Anstey (not listed on here). But the Brambles is now closed. I peered through the windows and saw a row of handpulls with an Abbot pumpclip and an empty glass on the bar. But it didn't look like it had been open any time recently. | A friendly locals pub selling excellent beer. The surroundings are basic but the beer is very well kept by Bob who loves his beer. Typically 8 beers on at a time.
