user reviews of the Willoughby Arms, Little Bytham

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Recently stayed here for three nights and was very impressed. Comfortable spacious accommodation, friendly service, excellent value food in huge portion and a good range of local beers from Abbeydale, Oldershaw, Hopshackle & Batemans.
Two small criticisms are the use of sparklers which, in my opinion, makes for a less tasty pint & the squeaky pub sign outside the Stamford room which may keep you awake if windy. Otherwise highly recommended.

Current management have been in place for nearly a year now. Good food evenings and weekends. Flat roof extension to rear with picture window now refurbished and refitted and looks so much better. Can be a little cold in winter (small fire and large bar). Looking forward to next beer festival - this coming Bank holiday. Pub quiz on quiet nights every 4-6 weeks - quite good fun. Recommended.

Does this prove that Camra are too busy drinking to go on the Web?

An excellent pub with good beer and good food run by Tony Shilling and allegedly Skippy ex-Otters Pocket Stamford.
Ps Newby Wyke Brewery in the backyard.

Excellent Pub for Food & Drink, very welcoming, the only problem is the location 5 miles from Public Treansport.

Newby Wyke Brewery is behind the Pub
