| Newly taken over and refurbished this place is getting better and better. Food is great, home made and well priced. And though it's one of the cheapest drinks in the area the beer is still quality. | love this place, go whenever i can on the weekends, friendly bar staff and a good atmos. traditional but not, if you know what i mean. has the traditional local feel, but has all the sky sports and what not modern stuff to boot. all in all a good old pub to go for a few jars in! unclesam - 9 Oct 2007 18:28 |

| Visited the newly refurbished Flintgate at the weekend and what a difference, the place is looking really good and am impressed with the good-sized beer garden plenty of tables to enjoy the summer.
