user reviews of the Rocking Horse, Aintree

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

No real ale. Walked out.
Returned for breakfast the next day. No staff. Sausages, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, baked beans. I can't eat the first two of these as I'm a veggie. I don't eat hash browns for health reasons. The other two hardly comprise my ideal breakfast so I walked out again.

Characterless, no real ale, modern "purpose-built" business.

I had a "Sunday" roast. I was asked if everything was all right. My only question was as to on which Sunday, exactly, the food was cooked.

To be fair, I was offered a refund (which I refused since the food was exactly as I'd expected it to be).

One of those modern red brick pubs that could be anywhere in the country.
I went here for a meal with relatives some of whom have children. There is a childrens play room.
The experience is not one I would wish to repeat.
Swearing patrons and kids running wild made the experience not one I would wish to repeat.
Eurofizz, keg bitter and various brightly coloured drinks avaiable.
