| Recent change of ownership is apparant. Been coming here often for several years and I must say it is the best it has ever been. You can now get a decent pint of Guinness and the bar area is exceptionally clean compared to how it used to be. Friendly owner and staff. Always a good pint of ale on too with a choice of London Pride, Speckled Hen and they have a weekly guest ale. The pub could do with a new lick of paint although it is fair to say they have made a lot of decorative changes for the better with on going work apparant. I wish they would install a patio heater in the smoking area which would be a beneficial bonus for us who smoke in this freezing weather !! seasicksteve - 6 Dec 2011 18:48 |
