| Came here some time ago for a family meal. Good ale but the meal was a shambles. We had been asked to come at a particular time to avoid a large group of rambles who had booked. We ordered some fairly basic pub food and the main course took about an hour and a half. They were short staffed and had one man running the bar and restaurant on his own (who was very apologetic for the poor service throughout) .
