| i think the dog is a cracking student pub, and those that knock it for being a student pub just dont get it, it is unashamedly a student pub, and as long as it serves cheap beer, delivers good service and a great atmosphere then it is fulfilling its purpose. for a leicester uni student there really is no better student hangout, as it is chilled out with good food and comfy sofas during the day, big screen sport on all the time and is buzzing in the evening, espescially on a sunday night where drinks are only a quid. long live the dog alfonso_ribiero - 13 Jan 2008 15:47 |

| Its open late on the weekends but thats its only real advantage. it only carries the usual student range of cheap lagers but unless you go on a Saturday, they're not even that cheap.That its another pretentious place that has bouncers and a dress code is not a recommendation either. kyle473 - 15 Apr 2005 16:25 |
