Really super pub inside with a lovely dining area and seperate upstairs function room but very poorly kept real ale- on my two visits there (Oct 2011 & Dec 2011) both pints were undrinkable but happily exchanged. 6/10

Friendly, really pretty pub - and that's not just the bar staff ! - great meeting place for lunch ( 2 courses - £ 10 - bonus ! ) with car park adjacent, just off the marketplace. Very clean, good choicve of well priced food ( only snacked but will go back ! ) and good range of real ales inc Ringwood, Hop Back and one other. Beer Festival at the end of November so may buy a tent and move here. Unless the barmaid will have me !

Great pub in Salisbury, good range of beers and well kept. Slightly biased as I fell in love with the barmaid... so probably better disregard this as I'd have the same review of a Weatherspoons if she worked there.

Still fantastic - beer festival planned for end of May Bank Holiday and they've just been awarded CAMRA's LocAle award for serving local cask ale too ! Comfortably busy when we visited ( break from Saturday shopping ! ) but definitely going back on Monday evening as see all Cask Ales advertised at £ 2.50 every Monday night - nice to see something being given back to the customers ! Good on you !

Sweet little place. Everything you'd expect in a traditional pub - even the landlord who doesn't know when to stop talking as he's got so many stories to tell! Seriously though, plenty of different corners in which to sit, an excellent range of ales, and a good selection of unpretentious meals all of which could be described as 'pub classics'.
