| Have used this place for about 25 years. It used to be a great family club with entertainmentn and reasonbly priced drinks etc. Over the past say 10 years its difficlt to see any improvments or maintainance has taken place. The range of drinks has all but diminished to verious largers and canned drinks from supermarket multi packs-including cans of lager (fosters) presumably popular due to quality of pump version. Havent even replaced internal ceiling tiles from water damage and only have about a third of lights in working order, Has the honour of being the center for Berkshire darts which probably accounts for most income. A regretably sadly neglected place, Best fondly remembered for its past-Shame. Yes I still use it-cant even get a pint of bitter though. Think of The Jockey in Shameless, knock it about a bit , take out the customers-brake the lights-you get the picture ruggy - 13 Apr 2011 17:42 |
