user reviews of Three Horseshoes, Ingleton

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Another very good pint in Ingleton, namely the Thwaites Good Elf. Wainwright and Original also available. Decorated extremely festively and the red-painted walls made us think we were in Santa's Grotto. Sadly they weren't doing food yesterday at 8.15pm. Landlady was chatty enough. Overall perfectly decent but nothing to write home about.

I can see why the landlord may appear slightly less than ideally friendly. Dead quiet on a Monday night in August which was unexpected. Food OK. Thwaites beers, one dark on keg. Pub entertainment is a telly which is compulsory viewing if you like "You've been framed" and Corrie, a bit tiresome if you don't.

Recently decorated pub with decent beer and food. Landlord could be friendlier to patrons, hardly a warm welcome from him.

Nice pub that thankfully isn't full of hikers and old dears.

Nice beer, friendly bar staff and nice beer garden to the rear.

Thwaites brewery pub with Original, Nutty Black, Wainwright and an additional Thwaites cask beer on offer. Welcoming pub with mixture of locals and visiting walkers. Beer is of good quality. Happy to recommend for anyone visiting the local scenery.
