| Another very good pint in Ingleton, namely the Thwaites Good Elf. Wainwright and Original also available. Decorated extremely festively and the red-painted walls made us think we were in Santa's Grotto. Sadly they weren't doing food yesterday at 8.15pm. Landlady was chatty enough. | I can see why the landlord may appear slightly less than ideally friendly. Dead quiet on a Monday night in August which was unexpected. Food OK. Thwaites beers, one dark on keg. | Thwaites brewery pub with Original, Nutty Black, Wainwright and an additional Thwaites cask beer on offer. Welcoming pub with mixture of locals and visiting walkers. Beer is of good quality. Happy to recommend for anyone visiting the local scenery. anybody - 19 Feb 2012 16:49 |
