| Really should use this pub more often, its only down the road! Good, solid local with absolutely no pretensions of trying to be anything but a decent local. The beer is well looked after and the food is plentiful in the way pub food always used to be - ham, egg and chips a staple dish, which in today's 'is it a pub or is it a restaurant' world is refreshing to see.
