| Clean and tidy little pub with very comely barmaid and nice garden. Beer was well kept but a rather boring selection (Young's Bitter, London Pride and Adnam's Broadside - I think it was Broadside). An exceptionally clean pub. I always look for details like the top of sauce bottles and these were spotless. An enjoyable mixed grill at a reasonable price. Genuinely friendly staff. Large garden with a real sense of being high up in the Chiltern Hills. Selection of beer but I was on cola so cannot comment. pedantnic - 30 May 2011 01:54 |
