No sign of food on my visit and while beer was cheap the one ale (GK IPA) was on the turn. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, as they seemed to have a few too many, a little creepy and left

Several changes recently, pool table and jukebox have gone, the tv was set to Gold Radio and the cutest, laziest puppy I ever saw has set up residency. As always the staff are friendly and welcoming despite this being a mainly local pub. Food is now served, usual pub fare, had a nice fish and chips ( although they were actually fries not chips). Unfortunately it was all let down by the beer, not overly expensive but not cheap either and was not stored correctly, tasted fowl, swapped to bottles of Old Bob though so at least there was an alternative choice. Carvery served 12-3 on a Sunday.

Under new management, been done up a bit since I was last there, a great, friendly atmosphere, digital jukebox, incredibly cheap 1.99 for a pint of IPA (or lager), no other choices of draught real ale though (some bottled options available). Going to make this my new regular, although I wish they did food and a wider selection of beer.
