| This is a friendly little local down the back streets of totnes. We stumbled across this place by following a sign down an alley. A handful of locals at the bar on a saturday afternoon. | This is a great little local, with a fine selection of real ales. I kept going back. Very friendly manager and staff. It has a real fire and has many regulars. If you don't like a lively pub in the evenings with great conversation, music and a good mix of young and old, then this pub is not for you. But for me it was my favourite pub for local atmosphere. I drank, Otter ale and Doombar both very tasty ales. on my second visit, the bar team even remembered what I was drinking , making me feel very relaxed and just like one of their regulars. extremly warm welcome from the friendly staff . gibbi - 15 Nov 2010 19:50 |
